no longer on my floor, there is often cat hair there! if your floor is sparkling and you do no longer drop sticky stuff on the carpet, i does no longer concern approximately it. there is the three-2nd rule in my domicile, no count number if that is not any longer there extra advantageous than 3 seconds, devour it!

It depends . . .
if I drop food in a public place where I don't know how clean the floor is, no.
If I drop food in my own house, I'd think about it - depending on what kind of food it is . . . for example, the five second rule always applies to M&Ms. Somehow they're just less likely to have yucky things adhere to their surface.
Fortunately I don't have to think about this much cos my dog has a dropped-food radar, and knows even before I do!
