What are kids saying about Paul Potts? How old do you have to be to appreciate him?

My kids like him they are 10 & 13.

I think it is because they saw him on television that they are hooked. It is a natural reaction to cheer on the underdog. Simon Cowell knows how to manipulate an audience.

I am sure that if they heard opera on the radio they would not be interested.

Whether kids like opera or not, I think anyone can appreciate that he has an amazing voice.
