Pb has a +2 valence, (NO3) has a -1 valence, (NH4) has a + 1 valence and Cl has a -1 valence.

Therefore

Pb(NO3)2 + 2 NH4Cl -> PbCl2 + 2 NH4NO3

remember NH4+ is a radical as is NO3- and they react as a single item.

Pb(NO3)2 + NH4Cl --> PbCl2 + NH4NO3

you should follow this general format: AB + CD --> AD + BC
Basically, what I did is, because Pb has a charge of 2 and Cl has a charge of 1according to the periodic table, just swap the charges. NH4 and NO3 both have charges of 1 so no subscripts need to be added.
