Do all you conservative stubborn Republicans still support Bush. With his approval ratings down to 26%, lower than Jimmy Carter ever got, making him the least popular president since Richard Nixon during the Watergate scandal. With 19 more months left in office, it is likely that Bush will continue to drop, perhaps under 20% if we are lucky.
With these ratings, it looks unlikely that Americans will be tempted to elect another Republican candidate in 2008, as the Bush administration is completely trashing their party. Do you Republicans still think Bush is doing a fine job running the country?

Alright already... we give up. He's a knucklehead. But you the best you liberals have come up with is Al (the Earth is melting) Gore and the unforgettable John (I really AM a war hero, depite what everyone who served with me says) Kerry. Who's the real kooks? Maybe we are for putting up with this crap!

We conservatives have two secret weapons:
1. Bush was not really much of a conservative on many issues. A real conservative doesn't favor amnesty for illegal immigration, expensive new entitlements like senior drug coverage, and booming domestic spending. Our guys can run as Regan type Republicans again.
2. The Democrats tend to nominate really crappy candidates. Remember Gore and Kerry? Plus, all the frontrunners, except Obama have Iraq hanging around their necks too, as they voted for and supported it.

i think of it relatively is going to be a stressful argument to declare that Bush is representative of the Republican social gathering anymore. And his defection from particularly plenty any socially conservative stance as pertains to immigration, education, and prevailing a conflict will enable genuine conservatives a good oppurtunity to distance themselves from this failed president. I voted for Bush, and would gain this back confronted with an analogous innovations...yet i'm sorely disappointed in him. nonetheless, I doubt any president will ever replace Carter through fact the utter pariah he grow to be and nonetheless is. various our midsection East problems are seeds that Jimmy Carter planted.

The silver lining to this cloud is that Gore or Kerry is not president. When Bush and his policies start to get me down, I cling to the thought of how dreadful it really might have been if he had lost either election...

What you commucrats need to be scared of is losing both houses. You libs lied to America and will pay in the next election. The presidency might be up for grabs but both houses will turn after all the lies and promises the commucrats made.
