I have a 1999 murry select rear engine rider. How can I quik and easy make it faster??????

You would have to change the gear ratio. That is assuming the engine is running at the correct speed. The engine should be turning about 3500 rpm. Maybe a little less. Remember what you will gain in speed you will lose in power.

You can make it faster by changing the pulley sizes or the gear ratio, but you will loose some torque in the process.
Do not tinker with the governor.

not easy, but we put a 262 chevy in one actually, tookabout 6 month of work (eavenings ans weekends) and does not mow nomore but runns about a 110mph

well take the Govenor off .... take the deck off ... all pulleys that aint needed ...hope helps
