Yes.
Especially if I am doing a manual, complicated task and concentrating like hell.
Typical conversation goes like:-
" C'mon.. just a little bit to the left .. more .. just a little more.... !!**xx"! Damn! you prat, concentrate you pillock, now, one more time ,, gently gently..got it..clever sod.. arn't you just the business...You could make a livin outta this "...and so it goes till I fix it or break it."
However, I draw the line at arguing with myself in public!

sometimes i talk out loud to myself, just if i think of something witty and i cant bear not to say it. i also talk a lot to my gerbils. often when im out and about and im bored i silently imagine how i would describe my actions if i was showing someone around
