for 3-4 days. i have a betta. im thinking of getting a small vacation block that floats. im not gonna leqve him w/out food 4 a few days cuz i know that bettas can go about a week without food but this one cant. he's like a sea pig! lol. seriously though, when he misses a meal, he gets severly stressed and turns white like a ghost...........so the vacation food that floats is a good idea right?

Yeah that should work if your not gone for too long, but I would try it out before I use one like 3 days before you go just in case you have to do something else and you don't have to rush to find an alternative.

Nope, bad idea to be honest. I wouldn't use any type of the vacation feeder blocks, they dissolve too fast and foul the tank right when you're not there to take care of it.
Feed the fish well for a few days before you leave, don't feed it the day before you leave and change it's water the day before you leave. A healthy betta can go a week or more without food and be just fine. No need to worry at all.

I still say no. I think the best thing to do is to get some kind of live food like daphnia or tubiflex worms that can live with you betta. those vacation feeders are not meant for small bowl aquariums and they are really not meant for carnivores. (it would still be best to let wait for the 4 days without the food)

yes those foods work but the only problem is:the fish can eat a lot at once and cause it to ya know, die. but good luck i would get a small block rather than big or an even better idea would be have a reliable friend come over to your house and feed it for you; that would be safer

Yeah a floating brick might be good for him... I would call Petco or a Pet store and ask them just to be on the safe side.... Have fun on your vacation!
