No.

Have you ever even read the Iraq War Resolution?

Do you even know it exists?

What have you done to educate yourself, before asking?

Well, we died in the battlefields of Europe and Asia as well. I would like to think that meant something. The end objective was to militarily beat back the advances of the Axis powers, and we did that. Stable governments emerged...Mussolini was hung...overall it was a pretty good outcome.

It worked because America threw her heart and soul into the fight.

If we throw our heart and soul into the fight...and something good becomes of it, such as a stable Iraq, then I think we could say these soldiers have died for a good cause.

However, there are two looming cases that may leave Iraq without a stable government, and a peaceful population:

1) The democrats want to pull troops. In this case, I would say our soldiers have died in vane.

2) Bush is not willing to commit AMERICA to the fight. The troops that went to Iraq in the first place...not enough...says the fellow that led the first Gulf War. The surge...not enough. Nothing has changed, nothing will change. 30,000 troops extra when we already have 100,000 plus isn't going to fix things.

Bush needs to put the pedal to the metal, and if that means instituting the draft to get more troops on the ground, then I say do it. I would support that.

The democrats plan is a failure, but so is Bush's.

You want to fight a war? You gotta put your heart and soul into it.

That means using the draft. That means sacrifices at home. We need to stop building your ipods and video games and cell phones, new cars, wide screen tv's, and get our factories turning out tanks, missiles, armor, by God.

That is the way to fight a war.

Then, these deaths? They will be for a noble cause...one that is attainable.

No. American soldiers don't go to combat to die.

Also, that crap about the "lie" about weapons of mass destruction? Do your homework. There were MULTIPLE other violations of the UN resolution that caused the war. Grow up and open your eyes. You may realize that America isn't that bad of a place.

Depending on your viewpoint they died

(a) to free the Iraqis from cruel oppression,
(b) to remove Saddam Hussien before he could use his weapons of mass destruction,
(c) to kick the crap out of an annoying Muslim so we could feel like we were doing something about 9/11
(d) to ensure our national interests were protected by removing a threat to our energy supply
(e) to distract the American public from the fraudulent election with a short, victorious war
(f) to enable the administration to funnel billions of tax dollars to their corporate supporters
(g) to protect us against fanatics who hate freedom

Choose any or all of the above. There is a reason our young people are over there, whatever you believe it to be and whatever they believe it to be. The tragedy of their deaths is not an accident, whatever the cause.

those cases are undesirable for the U. S. worldwide. The dollar cost is going down today. Obama and his team have the thought an financial equipment could properly be geared up with the help of the government with the help of taxing the employer and borrowing additional money for government courses. that's sending the dollar to all-time low. lowering the possibilities of the U. S. employer doing employer any the place interior the international. it is going to worsen with the Obama plan. extra businesses would be shifting out of the U. S. or outsourcing.

The Illuminati like to keep the non-money-controlling people excited about anything but them. That way, they stay in power.

The Illuminati have a good sell in progress, as Osama Bin Laden, a black sheep of his family in Saudi Arabia, runs around the world as the US military tries to find him - but of course, he's safe thanks to his Illuminati connections.

Now, the Bush family continues their alliance with world oil barons trying to make sure the US stays unaware of their leaders' wants by following a wild goose chase of a terrorist hunt. Why are we there? Are there actually terrorists that destroyed our World Trade Center and Pentagon? Check out the link below. Be prepared to be shocked by this video. As far as I can tell it is the truth.

I am all for America. Unfortunately, our leadership is not. God bless our troops.

Not one unless the Democrats pull a cut and run on us. I know soldiers who have been there who do see the need for the mission and to complete it successfully. One even went over there opposed to the war but on his return he told me he did see the need based on the poverty and conditions Saddam imposed on his people.

I don't understand why people keep on asking questions like this. Soldiers and Marines go to war to accomplish a mission. They DON'T GO TO DIE. Biased questions like these are misleading.

lessee......
in the wrong country fighting EVERYBODY...
unable to commit enough force to do the job...
unable to understand that "Mission Accomplished" meant GO HOME...
if they leave we lose all that oil...
the American fighter is the best on the planet...he is just in the wrong place right now.

I thought we learned it in 'Nam...just like the Russians learned in Afghanistan...

Bring them home- we won...Saddam is done.
