My views on the Profession itself:
Personally I would like to see the trade cleaned up, regulated, legalized and taxed.
The taxes should be earmarked for a comprehensive health care plan that would include regular std screenings, and unlimited supplies of condoms.
If you test positive your working status gets suspended until your clear and free of disease. If you test positive for an untreatable disease, your work permit is permanently revoked. Just like when you go to a beauty salon, that license must be posted...so would your work staus be public knowledge.
Spouses and lovers of "hooker's clientele" would no longer face the risks they do today.
Pimps would become obsolete and could actually get up off their lazy @sses and make their own money, cause girls would no longer need their "so called protection".

My views on the clientele:
I have no problem with consenting adults trading sex for money.
Some people don't want relationships but do want sex, so instead of leading someone on and hurting their feelings, why not just cut to the chase.
Some people go to prostitutes to fulfill fantasies, some prefer variety, there are a million reasons, none of which are wrong in my opinion.
I've never paid for sex, but I have no problem with those who do. It's your life....live it !!!!

It doesn't bother me, if men want to go to a prostitute, it doesn't affect my life so I don't give it much thought.
I do though worry about men who are married that go out and pay a prostitute for sex(it does destroy many marriages and families, and the same goes for affairs, ok women have affairs also, but we are talking about men here).
The men may say that their wife is not trying hard enough, but it takes two to tango and if things aren't right in your marraige, instead of looking for answers(satisfaction) elsewhere, you should make more of an effort to find out what your wife would like, and share/communicate more with her. Do something to turn her on, and most often the favour will be returned in kind. Treat her like a sexy goddess and she will treat you like a stud in return.

I personally have nothing against prostitution generally speaking. It's a trade women have used for thousands of years in order to survive. I only have issues when people are hurt by it in some way, physically or emotionally.

Is this supposed to be an eye-opening shocking question? There are all kinds (and sexes) doing all kinds of things. You think hookers present a big social problem? You think only men use them? I would like to see your reaction when your lady and yourself reach 40 and the worm turns. Anyway please use protection. I could care less what you do. I don't think you speak for a majority of people. Most men can't afford expensive (and healthy, we hope) hookers so try not to spread disease.

My point of view on men who pay for sex...I have never really thought about it. It really doesn't bother me as long as he is being tested for STDs on regular basis and as long as he is not hurting anyone, it's really none of my business. It's really no different than men who sleep with some hussy that he picks up at parties/bars/clubs.

i wonder why he doesn't want more from a relationship than sex...? i'd think he was lonely & would feel bad for him.... i wouldn't think poorly of him as long as he was no cheating on a relationship (like, if he were married).

honestly, i don't see anything WRONG with prostitution, i really dont care what a consenting adults do in private.

If I had it my way, there would be no prostitution, but trying to get rid of it now won't help at all. It'll always be there. If a man wants to go to a prostitute, fine, but he'd better not expect to go to me and get anything.

I think it's a rather unequal trade.
