I don't get "payed". It's not a word. I do get "paid". Some day's, I solve business issues that will save the company, or make the company thousands, 10's of thousands, or on occasion a million dollars. For those inspirational moments, I don't get near the compensation I should for the benefit it brings. However, other days I contribute very little. On those days, I'm paid more than I'm worth. All in all, its a fair balance. If I don't like it, I know where to find the door.

No where near. They only started making profits after I joined on. I practically run the show while the other people panic and slow me down. Drives me crazy. Only reason I'm staying there is this is a resume builder. Nothing more. I need the civilian side experience and in a year, when they'll need me the most, I'll be gone getting what I deserve in a much better place.

No I don't. I'm a trained research and development technician, but they want to pay me like I'm an ignorant button pusher.
