You have to do a three way rule, that is check how much the whole is and then to that get the 74 %:
3260 ---- 24
x ----- 100
x=3260*100/24 = 13583.33 (The whole)
Now to the whole get the 74 % that's y
y=0.74*x
y= 10051.67 (The answer)

Find out what 100% is 3260 divided by .24 and round it up. Then take .74 times the 100% number.
I used to just hate this stuff. With math you must memerize the rules. There is no way out to survive unless you understand the homework. I finally went to college because I was such a stup in math.
