what system do u use (lor?)and where do i start,been on pc forum but would like expertise from a UK angle on how to start,i currently have a large static display and want to go animated my budget is around £2000 to start and build up thru the years,i know lor are having a sale but they still havent got back to me as i emailed them with my budget etc!!!
anyone out there??

Not in the UK, but I am a decorator. I use LOR because it seems to be more popular on PC. With that being the case, it is easier to find people to answer questions when you have them.

After saying that, Animated Lighting is probably easier to program (after talking with Ken Good at the Ark-La-Tex minis). You can load a picture of your house to their editor and draw the lights. It will give you a better picture.

Whereas LOR does not let you use a picture of your home (at least not yet)

I think there are a couple of people from the UK that post over on MyHolidayDisplays.com that may be computerized.
