Yeah, I think it does depend on where you live and I also understand how you would like to have friends that are Hispanic and Muslim too (although never limit yourself to this!). I have met1 Mexican Muslim, she was very sweet....and there are more and more Hispanic Muslims. There are a bunch of Puerto Rican Muslims near NYC too...

I suggest you go to youtube and/or google video and look up Hispanic Muslims...they might talk of some mosques where there is a good community. I keep seeing videos with Hispanic Muslims in them....so maybe that will give you an idea. Also, if you are near a university, even if you don't go you can try to get involved with the m.s.a....they might be able to help you locate ppl.

There is a site for Hispanic Muslims too: http://www.hispanicmuslims.com/

and I've read that some get together in Chicago sometimes...

I have an idea about how you feel...I wish there were some Muslims from my background (I know there are but none anywhere near where I live) :(
I tend to get sucked in with the Moroccans LOL :)

Unfortunately, I don't really like the mosque that is closest to me because it is just immigrants...and really small....I too need to get involved more at the other mosques in the area.

It might take time but you'll find some other Hispanic Muslims!!! We are here for you!

Dear Antwant, Assalamualaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh
You can make many muslim friends around the vworld if you contact to the young muslim association in every country.Whe
re do you live?Do you live in Spain?I am Indonesian and I live in Jakarta the capital city of Indonesia. If you want to add your muslim friend in your own country you can contact to all mosques in you country because I think in every mosque like here in Jakarta there is a youth muslim association which its address of its secretariat is the address of a mosque. You can meet them there at least on praying time before down or in the evening on magrib or isa praying and you can discuss some problems about Islam with the imam or leader of the mosque or the leader of youth. For example in Jakarta you can contact to the muslim student association or Himpunan Mahasiswa Islam(HMI) and the chairman of youth association of Mesjid Sunda Kelapa at Menteng area Central Jakarta..You will be welcome by them.Salam for you.

If you are Muslim, you can go to the nearest Mosque and there are lots of highly repected people over there. You are sure to make friends there. Good luck.

I think that really depends on where you live!

There's a decent-sized Muslim community in Puerto Rico, but how do I know that will help you unless you tell me where you're located!

Make sure your behaviour is the Qur'an, and hold on the jama'at upon the Qur'an and Sunnah. That are TRUE friends.

Why do you only want muslim friends ? Me being a christian am I bad for you or something ? I have no hate or disbelief against anyone whatever their religion. In fact I have a son in law that is muslim. We get on fantastic. That kind of hurts because you sound kind of against us christians.
