Stay somewhere on Fremont Street! Definitely less expensive rooms.......The Fitzgerald isn't bad, and I had a nice room at the Plaza, art work was bad, but hey I only slept about 12 hours in 3 days...the bed was comfortable, and there was hot water and good lighting and the toilet flushed! If you want gold fixtures for 3 days you'll have to pay for them! Of course, if you're going for your Honeymoon or something...pay the extra bucks and get the Whirlpool Hot tub etc. If yu're going to gamble, board cheap and spend your $$ at the Tables or the slots! I'd stay at almost any of the Fremont casinos, over the Strip!

Fremont tends to be less expensive. You can always ride the Deuce doubledecker bus ($2 each way or a $5 pass for 24 hours) down to the strip casinos.

I got an awesome deal through my travel agent for air/hotel at Imperial Palace and rental car for July 15-19 and paid $400. If I had driven out, or purchased all separately it would have been $600.

I usually stay at the Key Largo which is on Paradise and Flamingo. They have spacious rooms, fridges and excellent service for $60 a night. But I just found out (while looking on the net for info for you just now) that they tore it down in January this year to build a condominium.

If you don't want to drive while in town and want to take advantage of shuttles and bus transportation Circus Circus is around $52 a night, Tropicana $50 a night, Sahara $50 a night (all these are on the strip).

Go to this web site for more ideas. I entered the dates July 15-17th:

It was really nice and it was like 40-50 a night i believe but there was cheaper on the site probably! Good luck and have a great time in Vegas!

the main inexpensive time for a lodge on the strip is Sunday with the aid of Thursday (aside from trip journeys or great conventions). December is the main inexpensive month with the aid of a tactics (although many exhibits are darkish then and various swimming pools are closed). July and August are sluggish situations too through warmth. Stratosphere is a step down from the Flamingo, no longer plenty for the lodge room yet for it rather is region, which isn't interior of strolling distance of any charm (different than the Stratosphere Tower, of course). on the Strip, incorporate Bally's, Harrah's, invoice's playing corridor on your seek interior the significant Strip. greater south, you additionally can incorporate the Monte Carlo, Excalibur, Luxor and the Tropicana for great motels with good expenses (although be certain you element in any "hotel expenses" charged with the aid of the lodge).

try this

You can check rooms with your dates and rates you want to spend.
You can expect to spend more on a weekend.
But if you get a casino card when you arrive, you can use it during your trip for some cheap eat or gifts.
Enjoy

Include http://www.utopia.worldventures.com in your search.

I ran a quick search on the dates you specified and it came back with 329 results on hotels for that weekend starting at $111 downtown for the entire weekend

Good luck

My friend just got an email from the Sout Point Hotel for 3 free nights. Try looking at their site or call them. She has never stayed there before, but we will now. :)
