Is there anything on line that I can fill out that I can use to state who gets my stuff if I should die? Also what my wishes would be if I were in a vegetative state, and about organ donation, cremation wishes, etc? I want to do something more formal than just writing it all out, but not through a lawyer or anything. Preferably free. Any good resources?

I don't plan on dropping dead any time soon, but just want to be prepared! ;)

I'm sure that you can do a Google search on Wills and Living Wills and find all sorts of do-it-yourself kits. Be careful that any legal document that you generate without legal advice can withstand the probate and other laws of your state. If you have these documents and you move to a new state, make sure that they are still valid and can withstand that state's laws. Best advice is to have it prepared by an attorney that handles estate planning and probate law and its usually not that expensive. My attorney charges about $100 for a simple will and he'll even through in the stipulations on how to handle the plug to your life support if you want.

Becareful that you follow the requirements for your state. Some states need three witnesses some you can get away with one, some states the witnesses need to be disinterested (i.e. getting nothing under the will) in other states it doesn't matter. It is very state specific and you did not state a state.

you can google and find all these forms, but you really should have an attorney draw up these documents, especially a will. you will always need witnesses and notarization.
