I purchased a demo/trial version (14 days i believe) at best buy and downloaded patches and god knows what else. I have been playing and want to purchase the whole thing and set up a full account. (I entered a key when i set up the trial version)
Should i just donwload it from the site, or purchase at a store? When u purchase at a store, does it come with any instructions/ strategy guide?

I would say to purchase it at the store. It does not come with any guieds or such, but it does give u 2 or 3 10 day trials for friends that you want to let try. But i have heard that the download times for the game online can be quite crazy. Aslo, i dont know if you can or not, but with the disks you can install the game on multiple computers so your not stuck to the one that you downloaded it onto.

If you buy it from the store, it does come with a book but it's not a guide really (there are guides for both the regular game and burning crusade expansion, sold separately from the game). It has keyboard shortcuts, some basic info about the races/classes, but nothing you can't get off their website.

I recommend buying online. Quick and easy to upgrade your account to the full game.

What most of the posters who are "willing" to share their copies of the game don't realize is that only ONE person can use an activation code at any one time!

The second two (or more) people log in using the "same" copy of the game, the code itself is usually banned INSTANTLY - and quite often, they take further action to prevent those users from EVER playing again.

Not to mention the fact that Software Piracy is ILLEGAL... mmmkay?
