Color bowls usually consist of sun-loving annuals, such as petunias, marigolds, allysum, lobelia, etc. If this is the case with yours, give it sun, and water it often as containers dry out quickly. Check the soil with your fingers to see if it's moist, if it is dry, you'll know to water it.

Planters like this need some feeding to keep blooming in the crowded conditions. A liquid added to your watering can is the easiest. Safer or Tiger Bloom Organic Based Liquid are good.
Test for moisture in the soil by sticking your finger in . If it is cool to the touch it is okay if it is warm it needs water.
It is best to water til the soil is saturated. To water from above slowly add water just until it comes out into the drip catch tray. Alternately water from below by filling the catch tray until it stops absorbing water.
