The record for pitchers is 10 strikeouts in a row. Tom Seaver struck out 10 consecutive batters on April 22, 1970, in a game he won against the San Diego Padres 2-1.

Tom Seaver has the all-time record, with 10 consecutive strikeouts.

He did it against the Padres on April 22, 1970. He struck out the last batter in the sixth, then retired everyone on strikes in the seventh, eighth and ninth innings.

depends if you are talking about from a pitchers or a batters point of view.

Many players have struck out 5 times in a game, not unlikely they ended the previous game with one or two or began the next game with them.

I know pitchers have struck out 9 in a row (even in an All star game), so the record is probably 10 at least.
