Yep. I live in KC. I went last year for the first time and I really enjoyed it. They had it for 30 days, covering Labor Day Weekend (it was like Oct 2, '06). They stay in character and talk to you. We talked to a pirate (Keith Richard's lookin' like Johnny Depp in POTC) and he was all into it. We took pictures with him. I loved it. (cuz I was a Thespian in high school, so I'm all into any kind of acting, drama or clownin')...

Yes, we have one in our town and about 50 miles away. They are always fun to go to and dress up

Yeah, it is really silly. People walk around with fake British accents, entertainers tell off color jokes, and the women show off lots of cleavage.
I do enjoy the guy who bring the birds of prey.
