When Clinton succeeded Bush Sr., we were a country with problems that seemed too big for any one man to solve. When Clinton handed the office off to Bush Jr., we were better off than we'd ever been, though not without unresolved problems. Now, we're worse off than we were under Daddy Bush, worse off than at any time since the Great Depression.

The question isn't whether Bush is a better President than Clinton. It's whether he's a better President than Franklin Pierce and James Buchanana, whose actions and inactions, respectively, made the Civil War inevitable. Whether Bush ranks 41st al-time, or 42nd, or 43rd and dead last.

Clinton was a better president, and only time will tell about after W leaves office. Somehow I do not see W writing a book, it's hard to tell, but I bet he will make the rounds of speaking engagements making million of dollars. I do believe he will sell that so called ranch, that was just a prop to show he was a Reagan want a be. Before he ran for president how long had he had the ranch, yes I know he was in the Governor Mansion, where did he live before that

anybody that asserts Clinton develop right into a competent president isn't being intellectually truthful. Clinton is responsible for the recession in 2000, and for an escalation of terrorism with the aid of loss of spine. The funds surplus develop into basically a projection, no longer an extremely surplus, and that develop into because of the Republican congress forcing Clinton to sign the balanced funds. Unemployment is decrease for the period of Bush's admin. than at any time in Clintons. The financial equipment is super inspite of what's declared on the Liberal information.

Bush will go back to the ranch and build a fence so illegals don't cross into it and Clinton is all about making money and and trying to get back in power via his wife. Who knows...at least Bush loves his wife and Clinton can't stand his. But what does it have to do with being a better President after the fact? Jimmy Carter is a royal pain right now and he was a crappy President .

Bush will probably retire, and perhaps become the Commissioner of Baseball. Baseball is his passion and hobby, plus he is extremely experienced and knowledgeable on the topic.

Also, the Bush family has a long history of charity, so he will probably be involved in an ancillary way in helping faith based charities receive funding and donations.

As far as who is a better president, now is not the time to judge. History is the redemer of all, and makes villians of saints.

I made William Jefferson Clinton my second beneficiary on my life insuance policy, what does THAT tell you?

Bill Clinton was great and I would shake his hand and tell him, "You rocked as President!"

George Dubya should be ashamed to show his face anywhere in this country, once he is voted out or impeached.

He'll just create some ridiculous new law that states: "In this land of make believe War on Terror, while shutting down Democracy, and creating a Fascist Nation, I can stay in office, as President and Commander in Chief as long as I want...nah, nah, nah, boo, boo".

:D

the choice is obvious. there may have been that monica lewinski thing with clinton but that was one of only a few bad things you could say about him. bush jr. brought a recession, misuse of funds for the useless search of the weapons of mass destruction, plus chaos and death to more than one country.

Well...Here's what I see...
Clinton downsized our military by nearly 45%
Bush Jr now has trouble completing the mission because he has nothing to work with.
Oh yeah...
Clinton raised taxes when he first got there and Bush cut them.

the poster why are you so upset is biased...he was a Clinton intern in the Oval office...they referred to him as the bottom boy since he had the least amount of tenure of the interns. Some may argue his nickname was given to him for other reasons... we cannot go into on YA.

Clinton was a much better president. There's no comparison between the two, really. Clinton is one of the smartest men to ever occupy the oval office. Bush is a dry drunk that has problem articulating that simplest things. It's like comparing Einstein to Bobby Boucher.
