Did anyone stay until the very end of the credits? I saw it on the first day it came out and i didnt know to stay!

Also, why couldnt elizabeth and will ever be together? The whole plot of the story was very confusing. Can anyone explain it?

I think that its one of those movies that you need to see over and over to really get.

Does anyone know if there is going to be a 4th movie?I heard that orlando and keira are not going to be in the 4th movie (if there is one)

ANSWERS PLEASE!!!

greatly appreciated!!!!

Okay, at the very end, after the credits, it shows Elizabeth on the same island 10 years later. She has a 10 year old kid and he is singing the "Yo ho yo ho, a pirates life for me" song. It shows Will (in very dramatic fashion) coming back to Elizabeth with the green dawn to set his spirit free again. Yay! A happy ending for everyone!

The plotline of the story is complex, this movie wants you to think. Basically, Will is killed on the Flying Dutchman. His heart is taken out and put in a chest (which he gives to Elizabeth), just like Davey Jones. He becomes the Flying Dutchman's new captain, in which he has to watch over the souls of all who die at sea for ten years. This film capitalizes the ending of the piracy era, even though it still goes on today. It is darker, as shown in the beginning with the hanging, in which the pirates sing for the council to meet. When this happen, all the pirate lords get together and fight!!!! This is the time where someone gives a heartfelt speech before they all die! Of course, Jack Sparrow gets off without any remorse, since he basically leaves Will to his cold fate on the Flying Dutchman before it sinks, even though he saved Elizabeth. I hope it makes a little more sense now, it would take forever to explain the whole movie without watching it again.

It is possible that there could be a 4th movie that shows Jack off to find the Fountain of Youth, since we know he is obsessed with living forever. Will and Elizabeth could possibly join him and re-experience their piratey ways!

no, they won't be together, like a family because he can only be on land 1 day every 10 years, and for him to be rid of the curse of being captain, his heart has to be stabbed by the person who wants to take over....so that would be his death.

and, no, you don't have to see it over and over again....only saw it once, so far, and got it right away. i knew that from the 2nd movie about the captain of the dutchman and all that...you must not have been paying attention.

no word on a 4th one....i think they should just let it be how it is now. 4 movies would be overkill, and wouldn't be received as well.

Oh, yah. considered one of my ancestors took a deliver close to Barbados. no longer that I even have something to tutor for it. Blast his lighting fixtures and liver! Yah, there have been pirates in the Caribbean - 1580s-1720s generally (and then it grew to alter into too civilized and the pirates moved directly to the Indian Ocean, the place they thrive immediately. lots of the Caribbean pirates had short, unhappy careers. between the exceptions grew to become into Henry Morgan, who (at the same time as a awful sailor) grew to become right into a stunning chief of adult adult males. yet another grew to become into Bartholomew "Black Bart" Roberts, who took over 2 hundred ships and then grew to become into supposedly slain off Africa, nevertheless neither his physique nor his treasure grew to become into ever recovered. Hmmmmm.
