NO!!!!! actors, muscians, and even mean with thin or small eyes often wear eyeliner as do alot of "emo" guys (I hate steryotyping though). Guys with eyeliner can also be very very very attractive...Pirates of the Carribean (need I say more?). Try and find the article called "Guyliner" it might help more.

This is not to say guys who do are or aren't gay, but one can not attomatically assume that a man wearing eyeliner is or isn't gay. What mean choose to wear is their right as long as they are not indecent. Also not too many centuries ago men wore makeup and would be more dressed up than women.

Oh babe do you not realise that men especcially young ones wear all sorts of things these days. Ok I am female but have a great choice of shoes clothes make up etc to wear. Why should not men have the same choice ? You see a man walking around with the same suit on for weeks and weeks, how boring. You would never see a woman walking around with the same clothes on for weeks. Men should be able to use what they want. If you looked like a girl I would still walk down the street with you. Live your life the way you want and take no notice of anyone.

Johnny Depp, Billy Joe Armstrong (from Greenday), and thousands of emo kids around the world say your friend is wrong. In fact, I've met very few gay guys who wear eyeliner, but maybe that's just Chicago for you...
Tell your friend that making generalizations about people (especially based on their appearance) will get her nowhere and she should try to get to know people a bit more because coming to conclusions like that.

No, unless they're trying to go for an emo or Gothic look, or maybe they had some terrible disease that caused their eyelashes to fall off, I also realized that some rock stars wear mascara! If you ever went to a concert of Prince's you'll realize he's got some mascara on for visual effects and some guys just do it so they can look hot and attract girls, that's what my brother told me when he borrowed mine, but he isn't gay, so i think your answer is just for effects on how they look, nothing to do with bisexuality.
Hope this answers your question :)

Nope! Look at the guys from the band Orgy, they all wear make-up and as far as I know are all straight. Same goes to gothic and emo setting. They wear makeup too, and some are gay yes, but not all of them! It is just a way of fashion and popular trends. Gay and straight take in the trends.

No.

A friend from high school who wore it to take attention away from a burn scar on his upper lip.

A lot of men in entertainment from Television to stage wear it because the raw effects of the lights are not flattering.

A generalization like that is just the embracing of an ignorant stereotype. Each guy who does it will have his own reason. While it might be motivated by personal appearance, homosexuality, transvestism, emo, goth, punk, or even just being silly; accepting a stereotype is just a cop out from getting to know the reasons or even thinking for yourself. Remind your friend that she is welcome to her opinion but that opinions like this she might be better off keeping to herself. Unless she wants to look that foolish.

No, it just means they like to wear eyeliner. There are a lot of rock stars that wear makeup, and I'm sure they're not all gay.

No it doesn't. Tons of guys wear eyeliner. And wearing eyeliner doesn't mean they're goth or emo either. Its just a way of expressing themselves. Whats so bad about guys wearing eyeliner, honestly?

No. For some reason facial & eye make up is very common and accepted as normal behavior in Japan. And you know how many Japanese there are on that island, so I doubt if it is a sign of homosexualiy.

Or why would heterosexual men comb their hair and take a shower/brush their teeth here in US? To be more attractive to women, and increase their chances to F**k.
