This has happened this past week and it keeps doing it... these windows keep popping up saying "Symantec email proxY' and it says your message to -----@---.com (random emails) could not be sent and literally hundreds of these windows keep popping up every 2 seconds (literally hundreds) and its soooo annoying! whats going on?

Sounds like you have been infected with malware, i.e. your computer has become a robot for some hacker to send out spam. The symantec firewall is blocking the SPAM from going out and is telling you every time it does.

what elese does it say? is it red? if so then it probably is a virus notifier that tells you a virus has infected your system you can click the virus's name and it will take you to a page from norton saying wat it is and if you can how to destroy it. Symantec is just the publisher of norton and maybe its just notifying you to run live update to update you virus scanner. HOPE THIS HELPS.
