For some types yes, that's what they do. Most all fish will eat dead fish and if that is what you mean, remove the dead fish asap so you reduce the chance of spreading disease.

Everyone here seems to have part of the answer... its not some fish its all fish... they are carnivorous... if it fits in they're mouth they are going to eat it. And some of the larger fish will carry it around even if it doesnt fit in they're mouth... thats usually cichlids (oscars, dempseys, devils). But all fish will eat each other given a chance, its in they're nature to survive... even the peaceful angel fish will eat tetras if they are small enough... Good luck with your tanks :)

You really need to provide more information on what kind of fish you have. It is probably normal, but depending on your circumstances, it might be bad for the tankmates, if you have improperly paired fish. Always keep in mind the temperment and requirements of your fish. Research before you stock.

Yes, all fish will eat smaller fish. That is all apart of nature.

Yup! Many fish that you might keep in a tank are carnivores. You have to choose carefully which species you put together. Even a large goldfish will eat other smaller goldfish. Kinda shocking, but that is life in the pond!

A lot of fish will have tendancies to eat other fish. Goldfish for example are very carniverous and will eath another goldfish especially if it is smaller.

Yes, depending on the species will make a difference in how aggressive one fish is versus another.

Some fish are carnivores and they often go after smaller fish. You should research your fish before putting them together. its perfectly normal, but if a goldfish eats a fish.....uhh....then i would be scared LOL! (kidding)

Some fish do this a lot. Other fish will do this if they are underfed. Make sure you are feeding them enough and re-locate the fish who are nibbling on the other fish.
