The fish should work it out eventually. As long as it is still breathing ok, don't worry and don't try to remove the stone. If it's still there in a few days you can try to remove it with small tweezers.

Yes you can remove it with a pair of clean tweezers. You could boil them for 5 to 10 minutes to sterlize. Hand catch the fish and hold him at the water surface. Stick his nose out of the water, when you do that he will open his mouth, insert the tweezers and grab the rock and remove. If you don't he will die. This happens when the gravel is not the right size, I would opt for the larger pea gravel or marbles. Good luck.

Scoop it out with a net. Hold the fish in the net and try a tweezer. Or hold his little face between your fingers and push the stone back out. Just make sure your hands are very clean - no lotion.
You might want to get bigger rocks.
Good luck!

Just watch him for a while he should be able to spit it out. most of the time when fish do that they and rearranging the tank. If it is stuck the he'll find a way to get it out. i wouldn't recommend you trying it. you'll have a hard time catching him and he'll be slippery and you might squeeze to hard to hold him and hurt him.

take the fish out of water and leave it for a short time (until it stops moving too much). then you should be able to take it out with tweezers or even your fingers. fish are very resiliant and it should be fine after that!!

Maybe he's trying to get stoned? Sorry, leave it until the morning as it may free itself, but if it hasn't, phone the vets for some advice in what to do. Hope he'll be ok.

It's OK they use stones in their mouth to help break down the food, as they have no teeth. When hungry mine used to get several stones and spit them at the glass.

Maybe a small pair of pointed tweezers (and wet hands).
All I can think of-good luck with that.

That happened to my fish once. He spit it out after a couple of days. I wouldn't be worried as long as its not blocking his mouth from letting him eat. But golfish don't live very long anyways.
