Your passport must be renewed in the 9 months earlier it expires and the recent date will initiate from whilst the renewal is issued. it works this way because of the fact many visa's require a passport to have a undeniable volume of time left on them once you enter that distinctive usa whether you plan on leaving earlier your passport expires so in case you had to attend until the date your passport certainly expires many visa's does no longer settle for you until your new one develop into issued. Passports are valid for 10 years so i certainly does no longer concern related to the few months you lose with the help of doing it extremely early as that's the way maximum passports are renewed if the guy is making plans on traveling someplace that demands a visa the female above me is misguided. The time isn't further to your passport as a passport won't be able to be valid for any extra than 10 years. good success with your travels.

She will have to have a new passport. Passports need six months validity from the return date of travel.
She won't be able to travel on that passport

The usual stipulation is that the passport should be valid for at least six months after the return. Check with your travel agent.

The vaildity requirement is actually three months beyond planned departure date - this is where the UK could use an ID card system - Spain allows EU member state citizens in for up to 90 days with a valid national ID card!!! But 1.5 months won't be enough - get her a new one

They require 6 months left on passport on date of travel.
If she gets a new passport the time she has left on her existing passport will be added onto her new passport. Better get in quick as passports are going up in September or October I think.

Your daughter should request another passport. It should be cheaper if she already has one. I think it's like $50 or something like that. Anyway, if she plans to travel in the future then I would say get a new one. It's better to be safe than sorry :)

It'd help where she'd be travelling from to Spain.

I doubt it's going to be valid, because it must be 6 months before to get a new passport. You should have hers done quick and do the fastest way if possible. I am assuming your daughter is coming from the UK.

And good luck.

Somebody on here might know the right answer but on this you should probably call a passport office or the state department to get a correct answer for sure.

I would get in touch with these people and ask them if she is allowed to travel. As i think there needs to be at least 6months left on passport on return to this country.
