It's a person (male or female) who knows that a person is married but insists on having an affair with that person.

OK you are right in the sense that had it not been you, the guy would have cheated on his wife with someone else. Obviously he cheated because he has low self esteem and stays with his wife for exactly the same reason. HE is the real home wrecker this is true, but you are a contributing factor. How would you feel if your husband were cheating with someone else? And now you have to move out with your kids and start over. I know you don't know his wife or family (and please don't believe him when he says she is a B or anything, cause most men will say that to the other woman as a justification for cheating). Please stop seeing him. By doing that his family is not going to become great again, but at least you wont be there when it falls apart and you can stand up and be the bigger person by not seeing this man anymore.

Large concrete ball that comes flying through a wall without your permission.

Or an adulterer who makes 'the beast with 2 backs' with a married person.

Often used to describe women but men are every bit as much home-wreckers as women. Another weird gender-biased double standard.

knowing a person is married with kids and having an affair with that person is a home wrecker, divorcing a person to be with another is a home wrecker.

It means another person who seduces a married person away from their marriage, but I think it a misnomer.
No one can wreck a marriage except for the 2 people in it.
If you are happy, involved and satisfied in your marriage, NO ONE could screw that up for you.. You would be angry if anyone tried.
You and your spouse are partners in the world. Loyalty, trust, forgiveness, patience, and watching out for the other person is what a partner shows-all the time.
Calling someone a home-wrecker is a way to blame someone ELSE for your failings.

A man or a woman who has an affair with a married person and makes that person leave his or her spouse. I do not like homewreckers. I know I have had experience with one.
