Nope. In CA we have a real mix. On the coasts and in the cities mainly Democrats. In the small rural and farming areas Republicans. Contrary to some like wolf who doesn't know schite, CA isn't full of freaks. But you cannot educate a dumba**.

For those looking for the "World's Smallest Political Quiz" here's the link: http://www.theadvocates.org/quiz.html And yes, it is a group of libertarians, but since they're the only ones that consider the political plane a plane, and not a line, then they're the only ones who will sort you into anything beyond liberal/conservative.
And no, Libertarians aren't a majority anywhere. I know a ton of people who hold libertarian ideals, but they're too wrapped up in the "wasted vote" myth to actually vote their ideals. If you want more info, go to the Libertarian website.

Most of those quizzes are fairly obviously designed for one outcome. There's an even shorter one: do you believe that any service should be provided at the barrel of a gun? The answer to that, taken to its logical conclusions, will tell you if you are a libertarian or not. Now that one too is weighted to the outcome of libertarian for most people (other than psychopaths), but if you think about how the government provides any service, that's how they do it ultimately. Californians, generally (although probably on an average comparable to the rest of the US), seem to believe that a lot of things ought to be provided through the means of armed robbery.

LOL no one but Brian has so far been anything BUT a Libertarian on that quiz site.
Who wants to bet me the site is RUN by Libertarians and 95% of the people who take the quiz "find out" their politics are the same as who runs the quiz? WHATTA Coincidence!

Libertarians aren't the majority in CA or anywhere else. California is mostly a liberal state. Others are mostly right wing. Neither is libertarian.

I would guess so, considering that is what i would describe the governator as. Libertarians have some very good ideas as long as they dont take them too far.

It's not the majority, but if we all had to think the same we would not be the Americans we are today.
As long as you vote with your conscience and heart, and not with the bandwagon, the actions of our service members of past and present will not be in vain.

I ended up dead center between libertarian and authoritarian and 1.50 squares to the right economically. I am often called a far rightie on this forum but it appears, as i expected, that I am a centrist.

No it isn't. The democrats (liberals) are the majority in CA. But what difference does it make? Vote your views - with a nod in the direction of practicality.
