mine was when i was learning to swim and i was sooo close to drowning...but my dad saved me =)

I lost a friend in a car accident in 2005 because he wasn't wearing his seatbelt. He was 16 and a fantastic basketball player. I miss him a lot. I remember crying in the shower for months because the pain had been too overwhelming. Whenever someone brought up the accident, I used to feel a sharp pang of pain wash over me. Now I just feel sadness. I know someday I will see him again. I just wish he had buckled up that night. If you drive or have loved ones or friends who drive, please encourage them to wear their seatbelts. They do save lives.

I was playing soccer and a kid 2 years older than me tried to shoot but instead he got me in the lower abdonomen (I was the goalkeeper & trying to collect the ball). My spleen was ruptured, and it had to be removed in 3 different pieces.

I've missed the most important and special day of my life 10 years ago (my graduation day). And I've had a DUI 5 years ago.
