Could be a hormone imbalance. You really should see your Dr. and have some tests run to make sure.

If this is an aboration from the norm, if you are not normally late then it could be one of the following reasons;

That happens to many women and the most likely cause is stress. Have you undergone anything new, like a new job or a recent move or job stress? Sometimes you don't even know you are under stress..

There could be stressors on you body like disease or illness that you body is busy warding off. Because biologically, the survival mode takes precidence over reproduction. Hopefully it is just environmental stress that can be fixed by just STOPPING and taking a bath and watching a movie. This tells your body that you are alright and it can let go.

Of course, there could be a slight chance that you are pregnant.. there is that 1 percent of inaccuracy of home testing - go to the doctor to get it checked out just to be sure..
Good luck and take care.:)

Stress, change in diet or exercise, change in birth control, or weight loss can all be causes for lateness. Examine your past month, did you make any big changes in those areas? Or, you could be pregnent. Take another test to be sure.

Well are you sexually active? if you had unprotected sex then it could be, most test dont read untill your like a month or so, or atleast all of mine didn't. Stress can affect it too. Have you been having PMS or menstrual syptoms? If your not sure then check with a doc, they will assure you. Good Luck!

Menopause, Oral contraceptive pills, low body mass index, pregnancy (may be too early to show on test), Polycystic ovary, etc. there are many causes of secondary amenorrhea. If your worried, I would get to see my doctor. They can also run a more sensitive pregnancy test.

You could be pregnant. It could be stress related. Have you been excercising a lot, that could do it? Gained a lot of weight recently? I would definitely see a doctor.

No your not pregnant; those tests are VERY accurate when your that late.
Probably just stress or diet changes make your period not come on time; but do not worry you are not pregnant.

Do you have an eating disorder? That could cause it.

Are you depressed? That could also cause it.
