Actually in the beginning I came here looking for real answers. I wanted to know what real people thought about our government. Not just people in the news or people I see on a daily basis. Imagine my surprise when I saw questions like, "Is Bush a Monkey?" or "Are liberals Retards?" I hate that crap. Once in a while I will see a thought provoking question and I respect that. But it has mostly become a rant site.

Political discussion are good and all but come on, do they really accomplish anything. Regardless if someone is here too share ideas of the what ifs or whatever it all equals they same thing a bunch of words from the hopeful minds. Besides, how many times does any of the stuff that gets discussed on any site for that matter pertaining to politics, the world or what ever really get used or make a difference.

I like the debate. I prefer intelligent debate but admittedly find myself occasionally sinking to the lower Y/A standards. Then, when I'm fed up to the point of signing off for good, I stumble across an occasional thought provoking question and realize that there are some decent thinkers here. But I don't really care if I get thumbs up or down. For the most part, in politics anyway, I answer mostly opposing view questions knowing I will get mostly disapproval. But, C'est la vie!

Personally, I'm here to debate, give suggestions, offer my opinion and try to understand how others view things.
Upon receiving 11 notifications on supposedly abusing Yahoo's terms of service for merely answering questions here or there – obviously I've stuck a nerve with some haughty-taughtie testy-testicle(less) lib's along the way… And currently awaiting a reply from a query as to why Yahoo determines it's up to them to diabolically stand behind certain "Party" lines by supporting naturally abusive characters while promoting a beautiful set of double-standards for punishment on those who are merely here to use the board they set up.
I didn't know Yahoo was only for "certain" people.

I came on here originally to discuss politics, but now I just end up arguing with people most of the time.

Why are you here?. You need to get a life because it looks like you been hanging around answers for a long time, answer me what are still doing here. That is simple question since you like run people done , do you work or just sit around condemning people that have knowledge and the freedom to speak their voice.
We're going to stay you can like or not because Mister Top Contender you seem to enjoy people telling you how cool you are. I've never told you that cause to me your are a daily headache with your years of watching everyone else do what they want to, I never noticed that anyone had to ask you to please don't ask anymore of your pandering Question or Answers. If we bore go watch the TV and wave, wave, wave at Bush and his sweet little wife and Barney.

Discuss politics and hopefully give people a basic understanding of the principles of the social sciences.

Today I'm here to point out the hypocrisy of two of the better known conservative posters on Y!A: Ruth & RLP.
Ruth has admitted to being Shrink and most of us know by now that RLP is also Aunt Acid and who knows how many other accounts they have. Yet they always whine about other people's clones!
Ruth likes to say "Libs can't take a joke" yet when images and words from there 360 are put up for all to appreciate in good fun, then it's not so funny - I guess conservatives can't take a joke either. The only joke I see is a divorced woman daughter of a preacher who grew up to be a divorce attorney. Daddy must be SO proud.
I have news for you all: calling liberals traitors for voicing opposition to a war is shameful and personal and you deserve whatever you get from us in response.
"If we DO NOT JUDGE - we lose the ability to decide what is good and what is evil..." is a direct word-for-word quote from RLP's blog. Ruth told Sister Aimee she didn't agree with that view but I bet she never told RLP that.
One of Sister Aimee's questions was "Do liberals just need a GOOD OLD FASHIONED SPANKING?" Yahoo called it a violation but said nothing when RLP asked the EXACT SAME QUESTION 4 months ago and no one complained. All you cons are PROVEN HYPOCRITES! ROTFLMAO!!

A: to answer only what I consider to be legitimate, mature questions; as opposed to "trolling" questions, which are merely slurs designed to solicit angry replies for entertainment.
I'm answering a lot fewer questions these days, too...
