I said no to 3 marriage proposals before I finally said yes to someone. And no, I've never proposed . . .

I've been proposed to twice and I said no each time.. And I have proposed twice and they both said yes, but the first one later decided different after she went through basic training in the Army.. I admit I miss her but I am now very happily married to second one that said yes, and know I am so much better off... "Unanswered prayers?"

(*laughter*) Yeah. I went through quite a spell where I'd meet some guy at a seminar or training class, and he'd propose three days later. For some reason, I don't think lunch/dinner, some late night programming sessions, and a few days running through the Museum of Natural History counts much as an indication of future compatibility. I even said "no" five times to the guy I ended up marrying (I should have just kept saying "no").
I recently asked my best guy friend to marry me...jokingly. I expected him to have a coronary or run away screaming in terror..or laugh at me. He just asked me if he had to wear white.

Well, when I was 15, I was proposed to by a 20 year old. I said no, of course, but didn't realize that he was really serious.

No because the woman who would get my YES or a "proposal",would not require such declaration of commitment.
The TRUST would be mutually felt making such understated and unnecessary.It happened once,but I doubt could happen that naturally again and in consequence,else,I wouldn't even contemplate it or follow "forced situations".
