You need a combination of heat and pressure, which is best provided by a commercial heat press machine. A home iron just won't do it. It isn't hot enough and you can't apply enough pressure to make the transfer stay completely put. If you have several shirts to do, take it to your local screenprinter or embroiderer (whoever has a heat press machine) and ask them to apply the transfer. They will probably charge you around $1 per shirt to do this.
