The worst? No, not the worst. We've had some pretty bad ones. Grant was one of the worst. GW is lousy, but he's not the worst. Just the worst we've had in a while.

Actually I would say Hoover was worse. He was president when the US economy collapsed in 1929. During his administration about a third of the country was out of work and millions were starving. Anyone who says it wasn't his fault that the economy collapsed is correct he didn't cause it. But his successor did a hell of a lot more to help the problem than Hoover ever did.
Bush is definitely in the bottom rung of American presidents and this country is going to have some serious problems thanks to his policies.

Well he is on the way, well on the way. Jame's Buchanan is generally considered the all around champ at being worst. But "W" is well on the way to taking his title.
