When will people learn that gay and lesbians want equal rights ,not rights that suit us?

I have watched people bash us that we want our own rights. We want equal rights. The right not to lose our job because who is in our bed. The right to marry and have that person on our insurance. ETC... It is not about seperating us more from the moral majority, it is about getting our equal rights.

Definitely right. It's like a major argument. My friend's a strict christian and she found a part in the bible where it states that any man that has sex with another man has disobeyed God and deserves everything he gets.
The problem, is that people are afraid to come out of the closet. This makes our group smaller, and so we are less common. Aliyah sees it as a sort of sickness or disease, which is really sad because no one can trust people like her.

You already have equal rights as a citizen of the US..
Identifying yourselves with real minorities will only offend us real minorities and alienate them.
When will you learn that society seeks to preserve what little values and traditions we have not yet destroyed?
