Well if a man can't handle the changes in his wife's body after childbirth he's no loss.

No they should not. Especially if the both of you are truly in love. Marriage is meant for the long run and you both agreed ,For Better or Worse right? Simply try to work through the issues that the two of you are having about this new development.

if it is causing problems then your husband is being insensitve idiot. there is nothing u can do about ur breast or streach marks but u can try and look put together. dont let ur self go cause u have the baby and have to be home. b4 he comes home try to put on clothes as if u were going shopping or to run arrands so he sees that even though ur body isnt exactly the same u still are hot. good luck and congrats

It depends on if the woman has body issues. If she feels ugly, she may not want to have sex much anymore, and that will kill a relationship. Her lack of self esteem will erode her relationship with her husband, and she will start to alienate him. It's important for a woman to try to get back to the shape she was before giving birth, otherwise the marriage will suffer.

No they definately shouldnt. I can understand the woman being a little self conscious about them, but any man who actually cares about his wife would not that let affect the marriage. Its just physical, really....and bodies are going to change as we get older anyway. Its the emotional and mental stuff that really matters and is going to be there.

No, if the husband really loves his wife, he will see those "flaws" as the sacrifices they really are, and proof of his wife's love for him, and love for their child.

If he's a self-centered, arrogant pr***, then he'll mind, and say it's causing problems. The problems are not with his wife's body, but within him. Let him go. The wife is better off without an ****** like this.

If the person you're married to is a moron, then it might make a difference. If you truly love someone, they can get fat and ugly and it shouldn't matter. If they are hit by a car and left scarred for life, they are still the person you married. Now, if personality changes develop, I might understand. : )

i think its absurd for the fault to be put soley on the women for having physical changes after having a baby, since he helped! any guy who would honestly let things like that get in the way of a marriage isnt worth having around.

No it shouldnt but so many men change the way they feel about their childs mother after they have a baby and they throw it in your face all the time.

No. It really shouldn't matter. This child was created out of love and if you love your mate, it shouldn't make a difference to you.
