I need helpfinding a place where I can take acting classes near Monteclaire or Covina.?

I wanted to take acting classes so if and when I make my resume I have some experience.

Too bad you didn't post last week. For next summer, check out the Citruss College Summer Theatre Conservatory. An exceptional program with awesome instructors. It's in Azusa on the campus of Citrus College. Do no go to Moultrie Studios (Montclair or Upland?) unless you just want to take dance from Melissa. In Monrovia you can look for Centre Stage academy but they are also already in rehearsals for their summer program. You can also try the City of Rancho Cucamonga. They've really expanded their theatre program in recent years. Montclair does not have acting classes that I know of, but there is a dance studio called River of Tradition. They're new but they're good.

For Covina it's hard to say because since the theatre has not reopened yet, I don't know what's available. There used to be a group there called StageWorks but I don't know if they're still around. Keep your eye out for that theatre to reopen because no doubt they will have classes when it does.

If you're not talking about theatre, consider making the trip to Burbank, LA, studio City etc. for acting classes. Check out WorkingActors.com, click on actors, then training. You can check out some websites from there or make phone calls for more info.

Call the Theater Department of the Universities in your area and ask if they can recommend acting classes near Monteclaire or Covina. Good Luck.
