Firstly gay people are normal, just not as prevalent as some other groups.
Secondly, you need to abide by the governing laws that prevail, as well as provide other people with the respect and decency that you would expect.
Thirdly, you need to ask Yahoo more about communications that you get from them, as well as consult with them if you feel that there have been errors made. Yahoo are also at liberty to detail the terms of usage for their services, and you can make suggestions to them if you have ideas for service improvements.
