Huh. That's a good question. I have never thought about it before. I have known a good handful of homosexuals in my life, and honestly, I don't know that much about most of their parents. That said, I can honestly say that the few I DO know about did NOT have a homosexual parent... but without exception, they had homosexual relatives SOMEWHERE. I guess it makes sense. Homosexuality is genetic, so it likely came from somewhere, but a homosexual would not likely have sex with someone of the opposite sex and have a baby. It is definitely possible, but would not likely be the norm.

I used to know a gay guy raising a daughter . I assume she turned out straight . I never heard one way or the other . Nobody on the scene cared, they just wanted her to be happy .

If it does happen, it's probably more of a choice situation, rather than being born that way.

Actually, I don't.
I do have a straight friend with a gay father, however.

Lots of them.
I also know, percentage-wise, a lot more LGBT people who have straight parents.
Why do you want to know?
