Choose between Third 1st movement (nature breaks through in the form of a grotesque circus coarsely making noise and then it goes on for over 45' minutes in an obsessive contrast to the original sounds of the wild world), Seventh finale (a gigantic Rondò with a hidden quotation to the theme of Wagner's Meistersinger in an alternation of grotesque and noble motives, triumphing with a bizarre grin in the pompous close) and Sixth finale (a dramatic theme from 1st movement comes back to stir a tragic whirl that drags in all the forces of the orchestra to paint the deepest abysmal pessimism ever heard). Also the Adagio of the unfinished 10th is impressive, it just gives you an idea of where Mahler was heading in 1910.
As a previous question pointed out, remember that listening to Mahler is a thick, ponderous emotional experience. Taste and enjoy with moderation.
