Because the government is so corrupt. The extreme difference in living conditions between the cities and the villages is unbelievable but no one who can make a difference cares. The poor are making a couple dollars a week and can barely afford to feed themselves, meanwhile the rich live in their fancy homes without a worry for the little people.

Unfortunately Mexico is considered to be the wealthiest country in Latin America but because of inept political leaders and ongoing years of corruption the government has been unsuccessful in creating jobs and an educated workforce. The average worker earns about $15 dollars a day but is provided with government sponsored healthcare for himself and his or her family. On this salary they just barely get by. Many Mexicans become frustated with this and look for oppurtunities to the north. Alot of them stay in Mexico and become unproductive citizens (which is understandable). They also say a country gets the government it deserves.

Because they have a corrupt government! The factories that have left here and gone to Mexico to give them jobs are flourishing because they are in the pockets of the politicians. The people of Mexico does not matter to their government. It is all about the almight peso.

Mexico is a poor country that has many problems.There is plenty of room here in the USA along with many jobs that a lot of Fat Americans will not do.I wish the entire population would invade America all at once by Land,Sea and Air.Just imagine millions of Mexicans flooding the US Border all at once, America is a Land stolen by Yankee Devils from Brown Skinned People who were here before them.
Once the entire population of Mexico is here life in the USA will be much better and Spanish will be the Offical language as it should be.

because there are practically no available jobs in Mexico. Those that are available pay less than any job they could get in the US.
