I would love to. Now that i have a baby, i would want to raise him and watch him grow. Battling with my ambition as a working mom is a difficult chose now. An alternative may be to have my own business so that i can also take care of my little ones as i work. Nonetheless, i would like my husband capable enough to provide for the family so that i can choose to work, or a stay at home mom.

I would love to have been a stay at home wife and for part of my marriage I was. Since I only had one child and a small 2 bedroom home, it was easy to take care of the house and my son and I didnt expect my husband to do "to do lists" on this days off. However, once I started working outside the home and going to college and being the major caretaker for my son, my husband helped with the household chores because he was a kind, loving and caring person and knew it was the right thing to do. He knew I put in just as many hours outside the home as he did, so we handled the house chores together, but I still handled paying all the bills. I also still considered him the head of the house. That is what comes when there is mutual respect.

Yes I would, and I did.

However, when my kids started school, I became bored and was happy to return to work.

Now, I just want to stay at home and be a lady of leisure, but we just brought a new house, and so I must work for a little while longer....

I would marry a man (hopefully Tobey Maguire) who could most definitely provide for me, as well as me providing for him. As for having and raising children, we will both take care of them equally and lovingly, the best way we can.

I did. I am not afraid to live in a one bedroom that's how we started out. We even lived in a tiny two bedroom apartment and we had five kids at the time; it was pretty rough. You just make do with what you have and you do what needs to be done; complaining won't get you anywhere.

If I were to marry and have kids, I would prefer to stay home for at least the first few years, if it was financially feasible.

I would like to stay at home with the children until they are old enough to go to school, then I would like to start working again.

Not really , I feel no women should put herself in a place that she can't take care of herself or her family in case something should happen. You never know what will happen to your husband. You don't want to be fifty out there in this world looking for a job that you never were train to do. Heck even 30 or 40. She should be able to survive without her husband if need be.

Yes, but he would need to do more, and have more then just that. I want him to let me work when the kids get older. And I also want us to live in the chepiest-niceiet house.
