I'm just wondering if you prioritize things based on the true value to your life, or spend too much time on things that matter much less?

You know its funny....... If I prioritize things....... I put great emphasis on my children. Their health needs..... food, clothing, social issues, athletic, anything that has to do with their welfare and happiness....... well that comes first. But my health? My welfare? My happiness? Hmmmm...... I forget that I probably should go to the doctor too. That I should eat. That I should make time for fun. Instead the garden gets weeded...... the basement gets cleaned out..... and the laundry gets done. lol (ohhhh and questions get answered on YA. lol)

I think sometimes it is a defense mechanism. Paying attention to the little trivial things means you get to ignore the big things that matter. That's not good..... I know. But I think it is how it works sometimes. I think I have a few things to adjust eh?

I would say that I do give the greatest emphasis on things that have the greatest value in my life.

Number one is my family. I have a good career, however, I am not willing to put it before my family, and that's why I haven't gone farther with it. My job won't take care of me when I'm old, gray(er), and sick. Nothing takes the place of children's laughter, and a spouse's affectionate hug.

My time here on Earth is not promised to me and is very precious...I try my hardest to not waste time doing things that have little value to me.
My health is important and I spend a lot of time maintaining it and improving it.
