Never take more than one aspirin a day because that is bad for your kidneys and can also lead to internal bleeding, especially stomach bleeding.

Also more than one aspirin a day may thin your blood too much and this could increase your chances of getting a haemorrhagic stroke.

Taking a daily aspirin shouldn't cause you any problems unless you have an allergy to aspirin, a history/family history of bleeding disorders or stomach ulcers. If you are taking it for pain you should probably see your doctor to see why you need pain medicine every day. If you are taking it to help prevent heart disease, a "baby" aspirin (81 mg) is appropriate.

Yes it is unless you have a sensitivity to aspirin. It is a good way to prevent heart attacks. You only need a small dosage, 81mg.
