is it appropriate to wear BLACK shoes AND dress pants with a while short sleved shirt. it is going to be EXTREMELY hott and i dont want to be sweating up a storm in all black. is this outfit ok? if not what color shirt can i subsitute?/ NOT black because 1-the blacks wont perfectly match and 2-its going to be 80 out!!!!

Yes, that outfit would work. Any neutral short sleeve would be good [ white, ivory, beige, gray, ]. You could also wear navy,
charcoal gray, or dark brown pants/skirt/dress to a funeral.
I don't think skirts are cooler, because with a skirt you must wear hose to a funeral.
Make sure the shoes are comfortable if you are going to the cemetary.
P.S. My mom and I have instructed people not to wear black or other dark colors to our funerals, because we plan on going to heaven, and want everyone to celebrate!

What I would do if its outside which it probably is. You should wear a dress that's black but spaghetti straps and a light shawl over it so that your still wearing the right color but your not going to die of heat and I'm sorry to hear that someone you knew has past on. I send my condolences.

You could even wear any color shoes with black and white on. You don't necessarily need to wear black anymore, could even wear blue if you wanted too!

it would be ok, nevertheless in case you have a black vest which would be slightly greater effective. Tip: continually have 2 black clothing that are equipped to all activities. One for the wintry climate and one for the summer season. this is a few thing I unfortuneately had to learn with the aid of fact of a funeral, besides.

NO! I have been to many funrals and no lady ever wares pants!!! Find a nice black dress to ware to this terrible place. Im so sorry someone you know has passed but they are in a MUCH better place now!

try same outfit but with green or maroon blouse, althoough I would be in a skirt still dressed but much cooler than pants

i think you should wear a long sleeve beacsue its more formal. and a dress should feel better, bring an umbrella or wear a hat
