hi, it depends on a few decorating factors...
What color is your bathroom? Do you own home? Is this tile ceramic???? Will it be perm? What size is the room?? Is it a main bath or off bedroom? Are you doing only the floor or is it to go with what you already have???????

I have always liked pastels... maybe a light blue or green. I think bathrooms look better when they are a lighter color

do a mural of tiles( a design of your choice)...along with plain color tiles that match the mural.

for regular tiles, anything neutral works, then you always change color of accessories down the road.

Mine is treated wood on the walls and ceiling, with sunken lights fitted randomly.I can light all of them or just a few (very romantic!)
It's warm ,easy to keep clean and goes with any colour accessories.
Before that it was peach and cream with lots of mirrors, very pretty but hard work to clean.

Use dark purple, I've always thought a dark purple would look good in the bathroom.

Go neutral..some kind of tan or beige. You'll never get tired of it because you can always change your accessories to brighten it up. Neutral matches everything!
