Well, if you have anything at all on your computer that you use to listen to music, you are more than likely able to use that to burn a CD. Open up that program (iTunes, Windows Media Player..etc) and Create a new playlist. Once you have that established, check around for a "burn to cd" option. Both of the two I named have that option. Personally, I would recommend downloading iTunes. It is a very easy music player and you can burn CDs easily. Hope this helps.

you won't be able to burn Wii video games; you like a hacked Wii, and whether you had a hacked Wii, you ought to no longer use a burned DVD because of the fact the Wii makes use of a proprietary format which could basically be written with mass production hardware. For computing device application, you may basically use any well-known CD-R or DVD-R. they're decrease priced, with CD-Rs being decrease than a dollar and DVD-Rs being some money. Burn the installer record onto the disk and you're achieved. be sure you have permission from the copyright holder to distribute their application.

Download http://www.cdburnerxp.se/
It's free and it works like Nero.

Otherwise, you can't, and Windows Media Player only burns music, not data.

You also need a CD Burner, which is a special CD drive that allows you to burn the disks.

If you are using Windows XP, and only want to copy files onto a CD, you simply put a plank CD into your burner. A window should opening showing the blank CD. Drag whatever files you want to burn into that window. (You can put up to 700mb of files onto one CD). When you have all the files, eject the CD. XP will burn the files to the CD before it ejects.

It can be done.
Firstly - you must have a CD burner installed on your computer. (duh!) :)
Second - insert burnable CD into drive.
Third - whatever file you want to burn - say in My Documents - go to that file.
Fourth - right click the file you want to burn to a CD - choose your CD drive letter (typically 'D') - choose send to 'D' dirve.
Fifth - a balloon message will appear on the lower right of your screen saying you have files ready to be burned to a CD.
Sixth - Click the balloon - Another window opens up showing you the file ready to be burned - click burn the file(s) to a CD.

Thats it - good luck!
