I left some wet clothes in the washing machine for a few days, and now it has an awful, moldy, musty smell. Any home remedies for getting rid of the smell? Thanks.

run the washer without clothes or detergent but add about 3 cups of white vinegar and use hot water. It gets rid of the smell and has the added benefit of cleaning the gunk out of your washer and drain hose. I do it every couple of months but if you have soft water, you need to do it about once a month.

This is an easy fix. Add one cup of plain white vinegar to the washing machine and run it through a complete cycle. You should do this regularly to clean your machine, too.

Run your machine on the highest setting & add a cup of bleach, do the same again & add a cup of vinegar, this will rid the smell

That smell usually goes away after the next wash, but to really get rid of it,wash some whites and add a small splash of bleach. That'll do it!

Bleach, throw a few old white sheets or towels in there and use a little detergent and about 1/2 bleach.

If you have baking soda run an empty cycle in hot water....Or use bleach.. Just run the washer on empty...You can even use vinegar if you don't have bleach or baking soda....That should fix the problem..
