Most Americans are kinda bulky because we're well fed. Botticelli painted well-fed Italian women about 500 years ago. I doubt any Italian questioned a woman's sexuality because she had 20 pounds extra. In fact, it was considered sexy if a woman had hips and breasts.

The pre-pubescent image of boy-like girls without breasts is within the last 40 years.

REAL women have historically carried 15-20% body fat, at least! It's needed for ovulation and gestation. American women are getting taller, more curvy and still driving men nuts.

When women get bulky, it's usually in the breasts, hips and abs. Ever seen a Botticelli? They have a little pouch on the lower tummy.

It's feast or famine in this country. Either girls are skinny/anorexic or they eat and have boobs and hips. Some are curvy, some are overweight and some are fat. Only some girls in weight-lifting/body-building competitions have little body fat, no breasts and big muscles.

Methinks you're trolling, because you suffer from the "short man syndrome", while you really wish you could score an American babe.

First, this is a generalization. Second, if you're referring to the weight of American women, it's because we're a rich nation and eat what we want to eat and hardly work out. That has nothing to do with turning into males. Quite an idiotic thing to say.

No, I don't. That doesn't make any sense. For one thing, what does being "bulky" have to do with gender? For another thing, it is not like there are not "husky" people in other countries. Thirdly, that is a stereotype, and doesn't apply to all women in America. That's just silly.

I don't think so. There are 2 couples that I know, married but can't have sex. In one the woman is too big. The second, the man had gastric bypass, and the obese woman was so scared she would lose him to a skinny woman that she would sneak him junk food in the rehab center he had to stay at from complications with surgery. He is now in a wheelchair, unable to do his exercises, and just as big as before but with more problems. I do not think it makes them more male, but it seems to make them more androgynous. They are still feminine, men are still masculine, but they are sort of blending. It is a shame, too. It can be prevented.

American woman have all differen shapes and sizes depending on their ethnic background, and of course, eating habits and exercise habits. But I think this is something everyone has to deal with. It know not nation borders. Look in American magazines, do those women look husky to you?
