Have a new product want to sell it, but where?

I have a new product that I would like to sell and I did think about going to ebay but is there any other site where I might be able to sell it? And yes, I have thought about making my own website, but I want to test the waters first with this product somewhere else before doing a website. Any advise?

Depending on what this "Product" is,has it been field tested and patented by the government agencies in charge?Then secondly,you have to have a marketing license or approval of some people that carry them to help put your patented ideas out for the consumers.Otherwise you may have a lot of negative issues as well as cash in the future,if you don't get these things checked out first.So try selling the product under these guidelines,just to make sure someone else hasn't either tried to make or sell the same products as what you are trying to sell without knowing or not.If it hasn't been made,it will still need test approval,as well as licensing in order to market the product to anyone.

May be go to some fair/flea market in your area and get the word out of your product, then when people are interested, make the website, and tell your customers to tell everyone about you.

until your ready to mass produce it (or the sell the rights to it) you need to sell it at a flea market or a simple small business that wont need mass producing. then you can go to a store chain that sells that kind of stuff (like if it was home improvment, take it to home depot or lowes, etc.) you can show it to them and sell the rights to them.
